How to properly cut a tag off of a shirt for screen printers, and it’s fast!

Here is how we found is the BEST way by far to cut a tag off of a shirt, especially if they are not tear aways. This way has been fool proof for us, and very fast. We’ve seen way too many jagged, sloppy looking cuts, and it needs to be stopped, here’s how: Shown on a 50/50 American Apparel blank: If you have the shirt with the collar toward you, pull the tag back toward your body, then put the scissors on the tag and slide up carefully until it stops. When it stops, you can cut, and it makes it seamless. You’ll see in the video, for example, I show how / when it stops when I slide it up, then it’s ready to cut.
