Home auction protesters occupy Greek court

Around 200 protesters have occupied a courthouse in the Greek city of Thessaloniki in order to prevent a session on the auction of homes. The protesters accuse the government of failing to stop the auctions and protect family residences. They managed to block the notary and judge from starting the auction. The notary left the courtroom after about an hour of negotiations. Many lawyers support the protest movement. The movement focuses mainly on auctions and the government. Protesters believe the government does not give enough support to single-property house owners. Constantine Venizelos Press TV Watch Live: Twitter: LiveLeak: Facebook: Goo
