If you think long enough, most people have a childhood library story, and it is one of the few places that brings everyone together because of its importance in the community. After spending several years as a media activist and working with non profits and publications, such as, Allied Media Projects and Clamor Magazine, Jason moved to Tucson, Arizona, to pursue a Masters in Library Sciences. This degree opened up a whole new world, and Jason began to understand and appreciate the depth and breadth of the work of librarians. He always thought he would work in academic libraries, however, the public library was calling his name.
