“Trump’s tweets have raised crude prices”

Iran’s OPEC governor says US President Donald Trump raised oil prices through his tweets. Hossein Kazempour Ardebili said crude prices rose by at least 10 dollars due to Trump’s messages via Twitter. He warned that crude prices could further go up if the US president continues sending tweets. Kazempour also accused Trump of trying to intensify tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia that are two main members of OPEC. On Twitter, Trump called on OPEC’s members to raise oil output and bring down crude prices.
