Above Bellosguardo (Clark Estate) and The Santa Barbara Harbor

Enjoy breathtaking aerial views of Huguette Clark’s 23-acre estate, Bellosguardo. Over the past 60 years the 20,000-square-foot fortress of mystery, sitting atop a mesa overlooking the Pacific Ocean, has sat uninhabited but maintained by the estate’s staff at a cost of $40,000 a month. Just up Cabrillo Boulevard, we fly over the beautiful Santa Barbara Harbor. City Fathers of the 1920’s originally planned to locate the harbor in the lagoon just across the road from the great Clark Estate (Bellosguardo), but ultimately decided on a location two miles up the coast…I wonder how that happened???
