Tim Narhi, auctioneer — one part salesmanship, one part stagecraft

By Sally Rummel, video by Tim Jagielo news@tctimes.com; 810-629-8282   A lively auctioneer’s chant, his characteristic cowboy hat and a few jokes to lighten the bidding process are several tricks of the trade Tim Narhi used to warm up the auction crowd on a brisk spring Saturday morning.  Narhi, president of Narhi Auctioneer & Associates of Byron, was leading a small estate auction for the Ed Ransley Estate in Tyrone Township, selling items as small as marbles and as large as a Silverado pick-up.
