JAGO my quick thoughts | JAGO: a less expensive Lego alternative | Building Block LEGO compatible toy LEGO is a building block toy that has a system, which make bricks stick together firmly and also is easy to take apart. If one has an unlimited supply of LEGO bricks and pieces, Imagination is the only limitation in creating countless builds. The basic LEGO Brick design was patented in the United Sates in 1956. Then 1978, LEGO’s major patent expired in the US because it was 20 years after it was filed. This made other toy companies to produce building bricks with the same LEGO basic designs without any legal issues.
