Getting started with Google Tag Manager can be really exciting. It’s a great feeling to have control over your tagging and tracking. It’s also fun to start building new tags, and unlock data you’ve never had access to before. But there are some common mistakes you can make that will turn your account, and possibly your analytics, into a mess. Here are four beginner mistakes to avoid when you’re getting started with GTM. 1. Not previewing your container before publishing Let’s take another look at Jeffalytics in GTM preview mode.
