Minecraft Datapack Tech – Saving nbt data in strings on items

Video Tutorial – https://youtu.be/DbDebeWv0Hk I have an in depth explanation here in the description as well (copied from a tutorial text document I made) So here I am going to discuss something possible in 1.14, nbt storage in an array within an item that can then be used for later, for this example im going to store 2 entities, then remake them from an array I’ve stored on an item. First we want to setup the array on the item, for this example I am setting up 8 slots, but im only using 2, to start I drop the item on the ground, then run this command /data merge entity @e[type=minecraft:item,limit=1] {Item:{tag:{storage:[{},{},{},{},{},{},{},{}]}}} After that, you can pickup the item and look at it, the data of the item should be {id: “minecraft:stone”, Count: 1b, tag: {storage: [{}, {
