On November 3rd, 2018, Stephen and Mal (and Dan!) streamed Nintendo GameCube games to raise money for their local children’s hospital, the McLeod’s Children’s Hospital in Florence, SC. This was the 7th year they’ve done this event, and set the goal at $30,000. Thanks to the generous donations, the goal was shattered and $65,046 was raised. Lourdes: A story of perseverance in Paraguay

Lourdes was only 18 when she says her world came crashing down around her. Resilience in action: Malawi floods 2015

International development agency Christian Aid enables people to move beyond survival and subsistence, to enjoy thriving and dignified lives. We support people to strengthen their livelihoods and manage risks that threaten them. We call this building a resilient livelihood. In Malawi, Christian Aid leads a consortium of 11 partners to deliver the Enhancing Community Resilience Programme (ECRP), a five-year initiative working to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger, reduce vulnerability and strengthen the resilience of around 300,000 people in seven districts. Running until 2016, ECRP
