Why is my Tag not firing? When it comes to GTM and complex Tag Deployment, we sometimes run into trouble and need to investigate what’s going on. A friend of any Google Tag Manager Expert is the GTM Debug Console. It helps us to dissect our Tags and it’s properties very detailed. The two main components are the Event Timeline on the left side and the Features Menu on the top, which lets us combine Tags, Variables and the dataLayer with the Events that happen in the dataLayer.
