Cultural Appropriation | My MOST HIGHLY REQUESTED Video!

I am biting this big ol’ controversial bullet. Enjoyyyy my ramblings! One thing I neglected to mention in this video but which I wanted to include here as an aside: not all instances of cultural appropriation are equally problematic. In my view, there is definitely a spectrum. For instance, someone having a hamsa hand hanging in their hallway because they picked it up as a souvenir on their travels isn’t really doing something on a par with the fashion industry example I give in this video! I also think that the more one has a platform, influence and followers, the more responsibility they bear for being conscientious and ethical. Just more thoughts!
