DEMO: An RFID Reader Emulator for Multicode environments

This demonstration introduces an RFID emulator for practitioners and researchers of RFID-based automatic identification systems. The emulator features (1) the generation of multiple standards codes (ISO, GS 1 and even proprietary) RFID tag events, (2) the dynamic tag population control emulating moving tags (3) the implementation in Raspberry Pi 3 which allows on-site uses (4) compatiblility to Low Level Reader Protocol (LLRP). The emulator significantly mitigates the RFID information system testing and evaluation by completely eliminating the physical tags placement and reading with physical interrogator. The emulator implemented in a Raspberry Pi 3 inter-working with our multicode filtering and collection middleware will be brought to IoT2016 venue to show how we generate virtual RFID re
