1997 Club Car DS, 48 Volt – Not Moving, Broken Wire, Bad Setup

For those of you leaving negative comments and a thumbs down, understand this customer PAID someone to install NEW batteries. One battery has a broken terminal. This was the end result. This is not the right way to do this!!!!! The batteries are not even strapped down in any way! Would you let your kids drive around in this cart?!?!? I bet, NO. These batteries move around freely and could cause a dead short, fire, or explosion (I’ve seen it happen first hand). I was not criticizing the customer but the idiot who installed these batteries in this unsafe fashion. Customer called about a 48 volt Club Car not moving. We found a rigged up battery pack and a broke wire. Welcome to Kevin’s Golf Carts YouTube Channel. We do golf cart repair videos to help you get your golf cart running again.
